White Nose Syndrome Research


Assistant Professor Joseph Bump and his student Alexis Sullivan use isotopes to study the hibernation behavior of bats in the Western Upper Peninsula. They gather information that may help make predictions for the spread of White Nose Syndrome, and fungal infection that is killing off large populations of bats.
